We aim to serve our food as fast as possible, as all our dishes are cooked to order so please bear with us at busy times we serve good food not fast food!

Our food is as locally sourced as possible our meat is supplied from Swanton Morley Butchers & from our own herd of rare breed White Park cattle from the Carrick Estate.
Eggs are supplied by R Watson of Dereham Road, Swanton Morley.
Ice creams by Simon Dann of Norfolk Farmhouse ice creams at North Tuddenham, Dereham.
Vegetables & fruit from C C Wells, of Greens Road, Dereham.
Fish is supplied by Bunnings of Cranworth and Jonas Seafoods, East Runton, Cromer.
Darby’s was converted in 1988 into a family freehouse with the aim to welcome a place suitable for all, in a relaxed homely atmosphere of exposed beams, inglenook fireplaces, stripped pine tables with farm memorabilia as decorations.
Darby’s offer 5-6 real ales & home cooked food, also children’s & toddler’s menus , highchairs & booster seats, Children’s play area, beer garden, restaurant & small function room for up to 50 persons ideal for the small party & business meetings. Menus can be designed to suit the palate & pocket.
